When PepsiCo acquired premium juice brand Naked Juice, they aimed to elevate the brand’s online presence while retaining the youthful personality that Naked Juice had worked hard to establish independently. I oversaw the post-acquisition overhaul of the Naked Juice website. From initial site planning and redesign, through development and launch, we served up a new experience to brand-loyal fans of Naked Juice and to those who had yet to be indoctrinated.
Coinciding with updates to product packaging and merging with PepsiCo’s global distribution systems, the new site served as the go-to source for consumers interested in exploring the brand’s offerings and in finding retailer stock information updated in real-time. Despite PepsiCo’s presence as an international beverage conglomerate, they were careful not to water down Naked Juice’s fresh, quirky personality and grassroots image in the process.
